Reflective Statement

Reflective Statement

Firstly, I describe the journaling process as a comforting and time-consuming assessment which leads to analyze constantly the class’s content. It's been the first time I journaled my learning process in that way, and I must say that procrastination affected accomplishing the activity in a timely manner. Throughout this essay, I will explain the challenges, applications and takeaways from this project.

Secondly, the main challenge. The main challenge I faced was definitely the lack of time to complete the journals during the last months. Because of personal matters, I had to accept a full-time position in order to increase my incomes. That situation delayed the journaling process and the quality of it. My notes were too vague and general, so I had to look for further details on the recordings which consumed a lot of time and energy. Eventually, I reorganized my schedules to free up time to work on the journals.

Thirdly, I strongly believe that journaling might have a positive impact in my professional life because it allows other people to see my work and who I really am. Since I created the e-journaling project in a professional and interesting way, I have no doubt that my journaling could be useful for readers.  So, they can use the journals to go over summaries regarding the most important details about a certain published topic. Additionally, this project can be applied as a guide to expand our knowledge and to organize our ideas. This can also help future graduates to reflect on their own understanding and their perception towards themselves.

Lastly, something I takeaway from this project is the importance of taking complete and meaningful notes aligned to the topics we work on. In fact, I would score this assignment with an eight from a scale from one to ten because I’m pretty sure that under different circumstances, I would have done it better. Despite of the challenges, I feel satisfied with the outcomes of this project, and I highly recommend keeping this kind of assessments to improve the next generations' performance.
